But, is it possible for a SEC team to drop a 17 pt, end-of-2nd qtr/3rd qtr lead? Lets see how Freeze plays this out.

Has any school opted to fire a coach with a 15 million dollar buyout?

Yes. Notre Dame fired Charlie Weis with an $18 million buyout (the entire balance still owed on his contract). I'm pretty sure they are still paying him and he was fired in 2009.

They jumped the gun after he had such a surprisingly good start in '05 and '06 and were afraid he would leave for the NFL.

There you have it -- aggressive play-calling with 3:30 remaining in the half. 24-0.

Les Miles is fine...too many coaching changes this year for LSU to throw their hat in the mix. It would be suicide. Same story with Georgia.

Lol. I was like "WVLT"? What's that? But LSU looks awfully sloppy. Not crisp, nor precise. Looks like all of the early entries catching up to the Hatter. That, and hardly ever actually having a starting quarterback.

LSU would be the second best opening though, unless Texas fires Strong or he leaves.

Honestly you could make an argument for USCw, LSU, and Texas all being the best open job.

I didnt think miles was in any danger but after watching today i think he could very well lose his job. We complain about playcalling but god lsus is awful.
