LSU returning to it's pre-Saban glory

I'm still not quite sure Coach O knows what he's doing. The departure with Canada appears to be interpersonal more than anything.

If the roster was as thin this year as LSU-SIU has been describing, then I suppose he did an OK job. They still have two ugly losses this year (the margin of the loss to Miss St was bad and the Troy loss was inexcusable no matter the circumstances). They didn't play well in the bowl game either. The only really good win they had was the come-from-behind effort against Auburn.

LSU will be where we were before long if they don't make a change. I'm sorry LSU fans but Butch would do as good at LSU, with your talent, as your current HC has done. What were you guys thinking hiring him? Trying to save some dimes or what?

SIU has a point. MB's have a way of making small things huge. Very few teams not named Alabama can continually keep rolling in every phase. Pretty damn remarkable. LSU is in the top 10% of talent and has been for a decade. Coach O isnt terrible, in fact, I agree he's a solid "B". Problem is, he's in the SECW. B coaches aint gonna cut it unless you can find a D Watson or C Newton. Imo

Those hires have a very distinct Butch Jones flavor to them. Probably will end up with similar sub-par results.

Anyone thinking Orgeron was a good solution to firing Miles was living in fantasyland.

Wish we could swap them for Bama for awhile.
