Katie was not only a girl, she was terrible, alright? She couldn't kick the ball through the uprights.

Yeah, if she can get it past the line of scrimmage without being blocked, and doesn't injure herself in warm ups, she might be an upgrade.

It just rubs me the wrong way because we had a female soccer player do this at my school about 8 years ago - so a lot of the guys (mostly football players) showed up at the first day of volleyball try outs and we were asked to leave.

Get over yourself. You can't seriously be this ignorant. Baseball and softball are different sports? true. But men are bigger, stronger, faster, and more agile than women, and you know it. That's why baseball and softball are separate. That's why men's and women's volleyball are separate. That's why track, swimming, basketball, tennis, etc are separate.
Most women's sports were created because the women couldn't compete with the guys. If this chick can kick a football better than the guys on the team, then let her play. Once she gets leveled on a kickoff, maybe she'll think twice about playing.

Seriously. She's freaking hot, and I def would, but as soon as this girl gets drilled on a blocked PAT or kickoff the fun's over and the media firestorm begins. As in 'WTF is this 100 lb girl doing out on the field for LSU?'

Pun intended.

But seriously this girl could die with a hit on a kickoff by an SEC football player.

Nah - its bull**** is what it is - I had to wrestle a girl in highschool. And she wasn't hot - or even remotely attractive. It was the most uncomfortable 45 seconds of my life - needless to say I made her cry - which I enjoyed.. hopefully she quit wrestling after that point. Just saying - it's a double standard.. why could I not try out for the volleyball team yet I had to wrestle a girl in highschool and had a girl try out for our PAT kicker in football?

For most sports there's a guy and girls sport so its no problem... obviously football there is no girls as well as wrestling... at my high school there was obviously no mens volleyball - so why wasn't I allowed that opportunity?

Her and Miles apparently hit it off real good. He likes her a lot and is probably going to put her on the team. She will be the first female in SEC football history and only the 2nd female in Division 1 college football history.
