Yeah, I think that's a very fair question. ON3 said he moved to offensive line in his junior season(HS I assume) to prepare for the next level. Maybe he didn't adjust and was beaten out?

Edit: Also found this....

Might want to slow the roll on paying him Seaton money.
Because he didn’t play much for a championship contending OL in the SEC as a true freshman? Hardly an indicator, IMO. If anything the fact that he started a game indicates that he’s as good as advertised.

If he were in his 3rd year and was struggling to see the field I’d agree.

Where are they getting this money?
I’d be curious to see how many of those kids actually get all the money that has been promised to them.
As far as a OL kid choosing between UT and Ole Miss, do you want to be coached by an OL coach that just put an OT in the league in the first round and a school that put Trey Smith, Cade Mays, Jerome Carvin and others in the league recently…?or a school that hasn’t produced a notable OL since Laremy Tunsil and his gas mask and a coach that hasn’t put anyone of note in the league that I can find? Does he want a quick, temporary payday (if they actually pay), or a career in the NFL? I guess we’ll see.

Absolutely. They were the defending SECW champions with a Heisman at QB and they finished 1 win shy of winning it again. Doesn’t get more “contender” than that.
Do they give out medal’s or rings for winning the east or west in the SEC?
