Why are we bashing AP? He’s a very nice person, JMO.
Media always know better. Life is built around 20/20 hindsight.Agree he’s prob a nice guy.
Don’t think he’s nearly as informed as he portrays, or as he used to be I guess. And he’s super negative about the staff’s decisions all the time.
He’s not alone tho. Majority of media covering UT football act like they know better than the staff. Cain is another.
Not sure why no one else has captured the market yet.
Just an opinion tho.
Too many media members are trying to join Jim Rome, Stephen A Smith, and a plethora of snarky and condescending industry leaders.Agree he’s prob a nice guy.

Yeah. The dynamic is definitely interesting. Someone with more time than me could figure out the ROI return to the athletic department from making a national championship game or even winning. Not just from the singular game but with all things value added.i think this philosophy is going to be the most interesting thing about the realtionship between athletic departments and NIL collectives. when i was talking to a donor to UT (not name on building bigtime, but high five figure big) he told me that his "connection" in the athletic department told him that under no circumstance should his giving to NIL impact the money he would give to the athletic dept. he said he was told if there was a choice to be made he needed to err on the side of athletic dept giving first. it will be interesting to see when a team thinks they are that close to being a legit playoff contender will they go all in and what will happen if it works out and what will happen if it doesnt. you can like NIL and transfer portal or not, but no one can say it has not added to the college sports conversation
AP says 60% for Heard. Lol what say @MetalVolunteer @Mrpeabody8888 ??? Confidence level???
