So LSU stormed the field after beating a #7 ranked OIe Miss team and they are talking smack against Tennessee for storming the field versus Bama. One hit the news cycle and was talked about for the week, the other I just found out about this morning. One is not equal to the other.......

We are now the hottest thing going in CFB. (Do you have any clue how many times I had to read that sentence to try to disagree with it in my head, but could not).

LSU has......Brian Kelly. The Butch Jones progenitor. Bad slogans. Bad dancer. Finding out really quick that life is not so easy when you do not have an entire nation of Catholic fathers trying to send their sons to play for you.

I did think it a bit odd for us to do a fund raiser…but I’m sure it worked too…probably 2-3x. LSU probably needs the fundings more than UT…or maybe their $10MM man can cover it

What an odd thing for the LSU athletic department to brag about. It's not like any Tennessee fan was forced to contribute to the fundraiser for the goalposts. It just shows that our fans are willing to take responsibility for their actions.

I thought the fund raiser was just a marketing gimmick where Danny White gave fans who weren't there a chance to be part of the celebration. The win, storming the field, tearing down the goal posts, touring Cumberland Avenue, putting one in the river, and letting fans contribute to getting new posts installed became a multi-day positive story about the Vols.
