Regardless of what time it's at, it'll be a fantastic game. For the sake of college football, though, this game can't be played at any time but 8 Eastern.

The game's at Alabama. Also, the universities have little to nothing to do with it; if they had any say in the matter LSU would play every home game at night.
It's an advantage for Bama to play at night at home. Same for LSU, thats why Alabama has refused to play in death valley at night. It you do it for one then you have to do it for both. It was a day game when Alabama was undefeated in '08 and '09. A night game at LSU might have ended that streak. You have two hard headed coaches that won't give the other an inch.
