I didn't see it, if so.
Do they normally leave their helmet on and remove the face mask like that?
Yeah I just heard them say he spoke and was coherent. But they also said he is going straight to the hospital. Hopefully he is ok.
Anyone else think its peculiar taking to a different hospital. Does Auburn not have a hospital? I assumed most major colleges have a hospital. If they do and they took the kid elsewhere thats scary that they would bypass to more of a specialized training.I don’t know. But them saying he went straight to the hospital isn’t a great sign.
I found a couple of instances where they have done the helmet on no face masks thing in the NFL. They all seem to involve concussions. So maybe that's it.Anyone else think its peculiar taking to a different hospital. Does Auburn not have a hospital? I assumed most major colleges have a hospital. Ever been to Auburn? I’d want my son in Birmingham if he was hurt at AuburnAnyone else think its peculiar taking to a different hospital. Does Auburn not have a hospital? I didn't even see the play(video nowhere on Twitter) and it was tacky af, the gator wasn't even off the field when they made the call. A 15 yard penalty for a dangerous hit on a special teams play 7 minutes into the game, sounds like football(an inherently dangerous sport that targeting does nothing to combat). It's literally not arbitrarily enforced, it was a textbook targeting. Like I said.
That type of hit used to be called spearing, and it's extremely stupid to do.
Whatever you say, chief.I didn't even see the play(video nowhere on Twitter) and it was tacky af, the gator wasn't even off the field when they made the call. Got to chuckle at an SEC officiating apologist named Butch. If you don't see how arbitrarily enforced and subjective targeting calls are in college football officiating(similar to holding), idk what to tell you.
