LSU is my 2nd favorite SEC team behind UT, partly because the Cheif is now there, but mostly because I grew up as an LSU fan as a kid in the 50s and 60s. This was mainly to get under the skin of my dad, who played MLB for Ole Miss and he despised LSU w/ a passion. Once my uncle on my mom's side took me to a UT game in Neyland in the mid-60s I became a Vol fan, but still like LSU. However, I think the gators will beat them Saturday. Both have very good defenses, but I think LSU's D is feeling the effects of losing the Honey Badger, as I think they are missing the TOs he created in almost every game, and their D doesn't seem quite as good as everyone expected this season. Of course they still have one of the best defenses in the country, but so do the gators. But I give the edge to the gators because Driskell is playing far better than Mettenberger, or however you spell the LSU QB's name, and also because the game is in the Swamp.

I picked Florida. They've had a couple battles and have hung together. LSU the past weeks has looked off, I'm thinking there overhyped!
