LSU vs. FLORIDA

I'm as surprised as anyone at the improvement of the Gators over the last two years. Really remarkable turn around.

What is so gratifying about this win is that it was done in the trenches. Strength, conditioning, well coached and a solid game plan. Getting a win by out-physicalling a team like LSU says a lot and is a welcome change for a Gator team that in the past seemed to wilt a little too easily.

Pease has certainly helped the offense, but there's still a long way to go there (especially with getting any sort of deep threat). The differences imo have been creating turnovers and toughness.

This such a better florida team compared to last year.

Its unreal how much they have improved.

Always had athletes but the system change with back to back new OCs has been easy for them.

They arent studs on offense but they gashed us and have run over lsu.

They will be really good next year. Again.

Has to be coaching. I don't think we have a good staff. We regressed and the turds improved.

UF's decline in 2010 and 2011 was a combination of several things:

1) The departure of Tebow, Hernandez, Cooper, Spikes, Cunningham, Haden, Dunlap, Major Wright and so on.

2) Meyer checking out in 2010, combined with Addazio forcing Brantley to run an offense his skill set wasn't suited for.

3) QB injuries to Brantley and Driskel in 2011, along with having personnel more suited for Meyer's system moreso than Muschamp's.

4) Weis being quite possibly the most overrated OC hire since Lynn Amadee. I'll never doubt GatorBill again.

Tennessee's issues are talent and coaching. If I was a UT fan I'd be a straight up NegaVol right now. Dooley was hired because no one else wanted the job, and he's producing results similar to what he did at LaTech.

To make matters worse he isn't recruiting on par with the rest of the division.
