How is Kentucky up ten points against LSU with 10:00 left? They have to be the most schizophrenic team in college basketball.

Don't worry, the Cats are doing their best to give it away.

Ladies and gentlemen, your SEC champions, the LSU Tigers.

Interestingly, the guy who gave up the game-winning shot wasn't even on the Kentucky roster 24 hours ago.

WCN is down. Too many posters at once.
I've noticed WCN goes down quite often right after a loss. Sometimes for a long time.

UK, I think, is now 2-5 in their last seven. But as my wife (a UK grad) reminds me I got nothing on her this year. Two butt whippings are keeping me quiet at home.

KY has to win at least two more games. I'm going to assume they beat UGA at home. Then they either have to win at UF or win in the SEC tourney. The UF game is almost a play in as a KY sweep of the Gators would probably knock Florida out and put KY in.

You know the Vols are down when a team can sweep us and still be slipping off the bubble.

Gillispie's gutless OOC scheduling methods = low RPI

Bruce's masterful OOC scheduling methods = high RPI

Let's say we play UK again in the SEC tournament and lose again. Something is telling me that locks us out of the NCAA tournament regardless. It just doesn't seem right that a team could lose three times to an average of a team as Kentucky and still get a bid.

And yet it has no problems staying up after a win. Tells you a lot about UK BB fans.

I'm not sure if your analysis is entirely fair. This year is a bit lighter than normal, but UK still played North Carolina, and Louisville, and a ranked Miami and West Virginia. Usually UK's RPI is brutally difficult, but I don't know if the term gutless is appropriate.

I''ll say it again--one of the best thing Bruce does is schedule to manipulate RPI. We always seem to be over-RPI'd.

BCG's schedule would be fine if he didn't have a head-scratcher each year. Change that loss to VMI to a win and 1) he's got 20 wins already, 2) his RPI improves, and 3) he doesn't have that horrible blemish on his record. If you are going to play cupcakes (and everybody plays some cupcakes,) you better beat them.

FWIW, the game day crew last night thought Kentucky was currently inside the bubble, but not by very much.

Couldn't agree more. The Gardner Webb/VMI losses must stop.
