I can't be entirely certain.. but when AJ Stewart did not switch off on that screen..... I thought Gillispie was going literally rip off his own head and beat AJ with it. He was furious. I wouldn't be suprised to see AJ quit again this week. UK is about as predictable as the weather.

I'm not sure if your analysis is entirely fair. This year is a bit lighter than normal, but UK still played North Carolina, and Louisville, and a ranked Miami and West Virginia. Usually UK's RPI is brutally difficult, but I don't know if the term gutless is appropriate.

"Gutless" may be a strong way to put it. So, I'll put it this way: We all play our share of cupcakes, but it looks like Gillispie searched the NCAA for the worst teams he could find.

UNC, UofL, and IU were already on the schedule when he got there, and I'll concede that it's not his fault that IU's terrible. Adding a home game with Miami is not bad, but I'll be more impressed if the game is getting returned with a trip to Coral Gables.

What is killing their RPI is that, not even including IU, UK played eight teams OOC with losing records, including five teams with an RPI of #298 or worse, coming into Sunday. They blew most of them out, and it still hurt them. That's a solid blueprint for how to schedule your way into the NIT.
