Sam Keller is a quality QB. He will light up a whole lot of people this year.

They got lucky in that game. Those special teams killed ASU.

Keller also took what the Defense gave them just like Clausen will

not very good at pass defense

That's an understatement.

Russell looked better than I expected, but they got bailed out by their special teams. They could have very easily been blown out if ASU could have just gotten a kick away in the 4th qtr.

Russell actually reminded me of Hackney a little bit.

Their Pass D though is sad, and hopefully Tennessee won't allow the breakdowns in special teams.

Yeah I know, I'm a little worried about that too.

Well everyone has first game rust, just like we did. So do we now jump them in the polls?

NO WAY.

They are the media darlings.

Not only will we not jump them, but our win at the Swamp won't even allow us to be favored going into Baton Rouge.

IF we play in Baton Rouge. I seriously doubt that happens. How the heck will the people get to the game with no gas in louisanna and no hotels in baton rouge? I seriously doubt we play in death valley.

We can take LSU, that's for sure. They talked tonight like we are playing in Baton Rouge. Who knows.........?

ASU was decent competition, they just screwed the pooch trying to kick the ball in the 4th quarter.

The Game WILL be in Baton Rouge.

There is gas in LA and while there are no hotels in BR, there are some in surrounding areas.

The announcement for the time of the game, should come Monday.

What a strange 4th quarter! I'm not sure if I've ever seen back-to-back kicks blocked and returned for TD's? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? I guess if we get a "first game" excuse, so does LSU, especially given the circumstances. Those kids showed a TON of heart to pull that one out. You know that football has certainly not been the first thing on their minds for the last couple of weeks.

As for the showdown in Baton Rouge in a couple of weeks, an announcement is supposed to come Monday with the game time. It will be "interesting" to see how the whole gas/hotel availability works out. I've got a place to stay with friends, but they don't have an oil well or a refinery.

I just can't believe the assholes at LSU insist on playing the game at night.

I mean I don't care. I'm not leaving till Sunday either way, but hell, the people that can't stay in BR, don't need to be driving 250 miles at 2am.

Then don't go. We sound like a bunch of whimpering children complaining about game times.

Not whimpering, just being logical. Tens of thousands of people driving for hours after tailgating and a night game is a recipe for disaster.

So, if someone is moronic enough to drink and drive, personal responsibility is out the window and we blame LSU?

So, if someone is moronic enough to think that nobody that drives away from Baton Rouge will be tired or drunk, people should die? Or be forced to drive in the middle of the night for hours? I'm cool with being up and coherent at 3 am (thanks to residency), but most people aren't.

Point is: no one is asking for the game to be cancelled or rescheduled, and most have given up on the "switcheroo." A sensible start time doesn't seem like such an unreasonable request.

I don't know about gas but, our hotel reservations in Layfette were canceled by order of the govenor for displaced people. We are hiring another driver for the bus and will be heading back to Dallas after the game. I guess it will be like a band trip without all the booze.
