Sweet Christmas... just finished binging the series this weekend. Loved it. Not as good as Daredevil, but still good in its own right.

I like this series and so far it tops the other ones in my opinion...until Punisher come along.

I slightly prefer The Kingpin because Vince makes him very scary to eff with.

Cage's villian Diamondback was lame as hell. Cottonmouth was good because of Mahershala Ali but he didn't last long enough. The Hand is pretty lame too.

I liked Mike Coulter, Rosario Dawson, Alfre Woodard, and Mahershala Ali for the short time he was there. But everything else....not so much. Misty Knight is terribly acted and Diamondback was such a bore as a main enemy. The final showdown between him and LC was one of the worst coordinated fights I've ever seen on a serious show.

Bushmaster was such a great character for season 2 imo. I also thought season 2 flowed much better than season 1.

3 episodes in and some of this **** is so corny*, but yeah the villain seems cool.

*like the Hercules in New York style athletic display in the park with SC6 making commentary, JFC

I’m through 7 episodes and so far....S2 is roughly about the same as S1 to me; a very mixed bag. Most of the main cast is good but after that the acting can be almost terrible. The ESPN stuff was cringeworthy bad.

The Bushmaster is an ok villain but Diamondback was so terrible almost anything would be an improvement.

One thing that jumps out at me is the production value of DD, JJ, and The Punisher is so much better than LC and IF. I don't know if it's a budget thing or what, but it's clear in LC and IF are behind the others. Especially when it comes to fight and stunt coordination. IF I blame mostly on Finn Jones not being good enough to pull off martial arts but the fights are lame. And LC is the same thing, though I know LC is mostly brute strength and he isn't a martial arts expert or anything close.

But this season so far I've seen several spots where it's obvious he didn't come close to hitting the bad guy and there's a weird delay in their reaction. And once or twice he's thrown a person and again a weird delay where you can tell the actor is then pulled up. It's just bad production.

Finished S2. I feel about it the same I felt about S1....ok but not great. I still like Mike Colter and most of the main cast, but the writing, stunts, and fighting coordination on this show is bad to terrible.

Honestly they need to just combine LC and IF into Heroes for Hire and cut it to 8 episodes. I actually found the episode where LC and IF teamed up to be probably the best of the season.

Guys this is just something to watch. It isn't horrible, and it isn't great, but that is ok. It will do to pass the time and expand the overall story. Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher are really good..the rest is watchable if your turn your picky critical side down..

Sure it’s watchable; I never said it wasn’t. But critics gush over this show and in that light I don’t think anyone is being “picky critical.”
