If we were gonna offer strong does this deter him from leaving that program??? I mean he's playing against Florida of all teams and has a slim chance but still a chance of knockin em off! If he wins, would he stay???

I'm thinking thank goodness we are probably not offering Strong anything at UT.

I think it makes him more willing to quit IMO, he has to know he'll get destroyed by Florida.

OK, so Louisville plays FL in Sugar Bowl? Wow, talk about bad luck for Strong. FL will destroy Louisville.

Thanks for info, I didn't see selection show.

This may well be the case but regardless....great exposure for their program and for strong! Another notch on the resume for sure

All I'm saying is if Driskel gets hurt like he does, Strong is smart enough to pull off an upset. I mean Florida has played down to their opponents all season.

I think Louisville gets destroyed here.. There is always a chance that Louisville wins but it seems highly unlikely.

Both of these teams have played down to competition quite a bit this year. UofL vs Southern Miss, a team that WKU beat by 25, and UF almost losing to ULL, most notably. Then UofL shows up and plays well vs Rutgers and UF dominates FSU.

I'm a Louisville alum and I bet they lose by 3 TDs.

Hope I'm wrong. They honestly should have went undefeated with their schedule.

Based on what?

Florida's defense is one of the best in the country. Louisville will struggle to score. Florida has overall much better athletes. It wont' even be close. Louisville has won close games and lost to uconn and was blown out by syracuse.

FL is a very good team and Louisville hasn't beaten anyone this year. Louisville lost to two very mediocre teams and doesn't belong in a bowl against FL.

The only chance they have, is FL got screwed with this matchup and may not be motivated to play.

Brian Kelly left to ND and didn't coach Cinnci in the BCS bowl. Not saying Strong will do the same, but it wouldn't be the first time if he did.

Good point. I can see it happening.

Doesn't matter though. As long as Florida offense plays down to the opponent, Florida is very beatable

Yes, they are very beatable...Its probably why they have 1 loss in the most difficult conference in the country (and their only loss against a team which was a few plays away from playing in the BCS National championship game)

To merely look at a team's record and deem them not beatable is naivete. If you'll notice, almost every "lesser" opponent they've faced this year they've played terribly. In fact, precedence shows that the lower the perceived quality of the team is, the more likely UF is to play poorly -- making them more susceptible to losing.

Do you forget that their defense had to score to win ULM? Or that Bowling Green took them to the wire? They are a great team and should be deserving of their ranking. However, they are a unique team that has squeaked by teams they should be blowing out
