I like Major. Defense was his specialty. His senior year was cut short though.

It's a shame he died so young. It always provide new perspective how life is precious and not guaranteed.

One article I read said he died of Cancer. I don't remember hearing anything about him having cancer.
I enjoyed watching him play, back before Tennessee Basketball became the popular thing to do. He was a huge factor in Bruce's first season.
I'll always remember the article in the paper with his snakes and dog.

Always heard Wingate had a drug problem. Maybe an OD? Sad. Really liked his game. I had no clue he was coaching AAU ball.
