Looking at this game, I can't honestly come up with a valid reason that Kentucky should win this game. We've struggled, but Kentucky is atrocious. And now they've suspended their best RB.

We are only giving 4 points.
Is there any legitimate excuse that we don't cover that??

We can't win on the road and our QB has yet to throw a TD pass.

It's probably going to be the ugliest game of college football in 2013.

That said, we should win if we run the ball 40 times.

We have nothing left to play for. If we couldn't get fired up to play Vanderbilt with a bowl game on the line on senior day, there is no way this team is going to be excited about playing in freezing Lexington.

I think Kentucky wins this one. It's going to be way gross, too.

I think you are right. If we just stick to the running game, we should be able to have some success. I'll be shocked if that isn't the game plan.

If a 2013 UT-UK game falls on ESPN U does anybody hear it? Better games on other channels..DVR's will whirl as other games are viewed IMO. Almost time for the countdown to the warm winds of spring, the April play game w/ recruits signed and delivered. GBO

I agree. VN should switch completely over to blogs and do away with the fan interacting message board layout.

I'm not bein antagonistic. I am meaning, it opens the door for all these negative posts that are unnecessary. I don't agree with how people bash the players. Some of them may not be sec caliber, but you know what, they are out on that field doing the best they can.

In case you didn't catch the UT vs Vandy game, we are also atrocious. I'm expecting one of the ugliest/poorly played games in college football this year

Only argument for a Kentucky win: Even a blind squirrel can stumble upon a nut once in a while.

There is no position-by-comparison nor Xs-and-Os breakdown that should lead one to predict a Kentucky victory. I've watched both teams play Alabama, and while Tennessee has problems, Kentucky sucks, and sucks hard.

Guarantee you that Butch gets them fired up to get after KY. Its still a big SEC game and gives the Vols some momentum going forward. Vols win easily.

Probably true.

But

You can understand why the confidence is lacking. Kentucky or not.

This is what I'm thinking. This team hasn't seemed to lack in motivation/desire. I think we go out big.

We suck pretty hard too.

Hoping for a win, but if we are going out with a loss, I atleast want to see an aggresive offense, taking chances, throwing the ball down field, more then the same five plays over and over, the kind of offense during the end of the GA game etc. Do not want to see conservative football at all.

At home

Their bowl game

Have historically played UT tough at home

We are not playing well. Players and coaches heads aren't in the game.
