Maryland @ Virginia
2-1 Toss up series. Both played surprisingly well as week. UVA has been here before

Missouri State @ Arkansas
2-1 I just don't see Arkansas as a CWS team. Them hosting will give them 1 game.

VCU @ Miami
2-1 The Rams are good and Miami will need to play better than last weekend. Will be close

Florida State @ Florida
2-0 Will crush the Noles at home

ULL @ LSU
2-0 These are going to be entertaining games. There will be a ton of rajun vermillion in the Box.

Texas A&M @ TCU
2-0 I don't see aTm's bats remaining cool another weekend, even on the road. Should have been a national seed and will show it.

Vanderbilt @ Illinois
2-0 Will not be close. Vandy has been more focused on road super regionals.

Cal State Fullerton @ Louisville
2-0 Will not be close

I see more road teams winning than expected. 4/8

The Aggies deserved a national seed and will have chip on their shoulder. If the game was outside Texas I think they'd lose some of that fight.

Louisville, Vanderbilt, and Virginia are really hot right now. I'll be surprised if they lose.

Missouri State as a national seed, on the road against a "big boy" will be big-game hunting.

Virginia vs. Maryland
Maryland bet UCLA but I think it stops here.
Arkansas vs. Missouri State
Arkansas has been good.
Miami vs. VCU
Would like to see VCU but doubt it.
Florida vs. Florida State
Florida is better imo.
LSU vs. La-Lafayette
LSU....
TCU.vs Texas A&M
Should be good but I think Texas A&M will squeak this.
Illinois vs. Vanderbilt
Cause I don't like Illinois, then I hope Vandy gets knocked out quick in the CWS.
Louisville vs. Cal State Fullerton
I'm hoping Louisville wins the CWS although I liked watching CS Fullerton.

The Vols ain't in it, so I predict I'll still not give a rat's ass after I get back to the States from my current location in the Middle East helping to keep ISIL at bay.

This stuff is always hard to predict, but I believe that Miami and Vanderbilt are lead pipe locks to get to Omaha.

Every other series can go either way, although it would be somewhat surprising if LSU was eliminated by ULL. But, that's not the lead pipe lock that Miami and Vandy are.

Good luck to VCU playing game 1 at Miami at noon.

Wonder how long the VCU starter can throw in that heat.

The Missouri Valley team's RPI's were grossly inflated. DBU doesn't make it out of their own regional and Missouri State getting run out of the ballpark in Fayetteville. Both had unbelievably weak regionals to begin with. Arkansas has been playing top 5 baseball over the last 6 weeks or so, they're going to be a tough out in Omaha (I have little doubt they end up there).

Everyone has a bad day and everyone has days where they play out of their mind, but MSU just looks like they flat out don't belong here. I hate Vandy with a passion but the committee failing to give them or TAMU a national seed in favor of a Missouri Valley team is an embarrassment for the committee.

Missouri State not being able to host this series in Springfield is fitting, they didn't deserve it in the first place.

18 runs on day 1 isn't a bad day. It's a joke.

I'm sure they eventually put in the worst arms on the roster to take one for the team, but it's still laughable.

That was the point I was making;
this was more than just a bad day. This was an overmatched team who benefited from a weak schedule learning what big boy ball is.

Their best shot at Omaha would've been going through Illinois, if they hadn't been a national seed, which is the biggest joke in all of this.

Guys that was a 1st round arm out there today for mizzu state. I am sure there was some shock factor with him getting shelled.

I bet state comes back and plays competitive tomorrow

And he was clearly overmatched by an upper echelon P5 team. If he faces an SEC team every Friday, I imagine his numbers might not be what they are today.

Scouts don't see power 5 conferences when they evaluate. They see stuff and this kid has elite stuff. He didn't get shelled today because he doesn't belong. Very similar to what happened to fuller a few weeks ago.

Missouri State is not a top 8 team in the country. This team likely finishes middle of the pack in the SEC or ACC. They as a team were overmatched. He gave up 8 runs, Arkansas scored 18. They pounded anyone they put on the mound.

Trying not to get too excited.

Gators look like they can give the Yankees a run for their money right now.

With your theory FSU doesn't belong either
