With your theory FSU doesn't belong either

Tomorrow is a new day

I'm not "arguing" this anymore. I've said MSU didn't deserve a national seed not that they don't belong in the Supers. FSU is irrelevant seeing as how they didn't earn a national seed. The difference between the two is, FSU has proven what they can do against top competition; this is a bad day. MSU hasn't come close to facing the level of competition that FSU has or the level of competition they're facing now. When your best win on the season is Dallas Baptist you're not a top 8 team.

MSU's SOS is 88, FSU's is 3.

Not at all what you posted

I agree they don't deserve a national seed especially considering they couldn't host a super

Tonight's game proved absolutely nothing about their talent. Their arm is an elite arm regardless of the league

Missouri State is not a top 8 team in the country. This team likely finishes middle of the pack in the SEC or ACC. They as a team were overmatched. He gave up 8 runs, Arkansas scored 18. They pounded anyone they put on the mound.

Looks like that's what I said.

Everyone has a bad day and everyone has days where they play out of their mind, but MSU just looks like they flat out don't belong here. I hate Vandy with a passion but the committee failing to give them or TAMU a national seed in favor of a Missouri Valley team is an embarrassment for the committee.

Missouri State not being able to host this series in Springfield is fitting, they didn't deserve it in the first place.

Another post knocking their seeding.

Another post knocking their seeding.

Pretty simple

I agree they were over seeded

But disagree This one game doesn't mean their arm isn't legit. He's a high draft which scouts could care less what conference a kid competes in.

That's our difference of opinion

I also think they were over-seeded, however their mid-week guys shutout Arkansas early this year. Today was just a bad day for Harris, then they threw the bottom of the barrel to finish the game and save arms. I don't think many teams want any part of Arkansas right now.

Stupid base running calls are clearly engrained in the Fullerton coaching tree. Fullerton caught trying to steal 3rd with 2 outs and one of their best hitters at the plate.

I bet state comes back and plays competitive tomorrow

Anybody got an update??

Did state show up and prove they belong or did yesterday prove they don't deserve to be on the field with the big boys???

Your attempt at framing my agenda is poor. Not once as anyone said they don't belong in/on the field.

Are they learning today what "big boy ball" is??

Were they not overmatched yesterday?

Do you honestly think they have the nations 2nd best record if they're playing a top 25 schedule? They played 34 teams with an RPI over 100. By contrast no SEC team played more than 20; most were in the 12-15 range.

Already been there but here you go again. An elite arm got touched up. Same thing that happened to fulmer a few weeks ago. You started spewing bs about him not being able to hack it in big boy ball. He's a first rounder for goodness sakes. You said it wasn't just 1 bad game. Today proved otherwise

Ark likely wins in 3 as I predicted before the series but make no mistake state is a hell of a college baseball team

I said he was overpowered by a solid P5 lineup and he was yesterday, didn't say he couldn't hack it in big boy ball. I did say his numbers likely aren't what they are if he plays a more balanced schedule all year. The only BS is your inability to comprehend and exaggerating what was said.

So which is it??

Overpowered yesterday, he couldn't put up numbers in the sec, or both??

IMO mizzu state and ark would have had very similar finishes if they both played in the sec. And of course state wouldn't have won as many games but they damn sure would have had a successful year. Very solid team

State dominated this game. At one point is was 14-1 in baserunners. They couldn't put them away.

May be a heartbreaking finish.

That's baseball!

Well considering he had never been lit up in his career like he was yesterday then the chances of that happening more often (not every outing so you don't twist my words) are greater if he plays in a conference like the SEC. I don't think I'm arguing two different points as you're trying to portray. I don't think yesterday was indicative of what every Friday night would be like in the SEC just the same I don't think what he does every Friday in the Missouri Valley is indicative of what he'd do.
