Making the trip to Oregon game.

Anyone know the best area to get a hotel at? Is there a bar scene or is it best just to be close to campus?

I was in Eugene about 15 yrs ago, on campus, hunting the stadium....I couldn't find it. Stopped & asked someone ...got confusing directions... Still couldn't find it...asked someone else & STILL couldn't find it. Both of them said "it's HUGE..you can't miss it." It seated around 45-50,000 at the time. I wanted to say "you're talking to a Tennessee fan...it's not huge!!!" But I refrained....anyway, It got dark & I never did find that little place...I'm not exactly Magellan, so it was probably my fault I never found it, but I've always thought it was funny that they thought it was huge!

It's right off I-5 you literally can't miss it. But yes it is very small compared to the Holy Land.

I will be making the trip with some friends as well. Never been West of the Mississippi before, but this trip will end that. Looking forward to being a part of it. Go Vols!
