FWIW, I certainly wasn't slamming the kid. He may indeed have prodigious abilities but at least last year, he didn't show signs of being a running threat...which was my main point, that and throwing a little water on Randy Moore's ridiculous statement.

The numbers Malik and Je'Ron have put up so far simply don't support the kind of hyperbole used by Moore to describe them as a tandem. Still, I'm aware that Je'Ron's a tremendous talent and his brother may turn out to be as well. If so, I hope we land him in 2010.

Plain and simple. If Tennessee is the leader for this kid, and he obviously is great talent, he will be talking up UT at all the camps. He will no doubt meet Eric Berry's brothers and be able to talk UT football at every camp, every all star game, and stuff like that.
I hope he puts up great numbers this year along with his brother and hope they both can pull a lot of players over to the Orange and White.

all it takes is one stokes, or hopson, or an elite stud who knows other studs and the cycle keeps going of your studs talking to their stud friends

Malik will only be a junior next year. Any qb that comes out knows they will have to compete for the job. Secondly Malik will probably play a more hybrid role. Direct snap qb, rb, wr. He is a playmaker that can be used to run a lot of misdirection. I like the idea of Malik Stokes in a Clawson offense.

That's right. I forgot he was the class below Nunes. And I can see how he would end up not having one defined position.

You said that Malik wasn't coming here because Je'Ron is. And then you said Malik will commit because Je'Ron is playing here. So which one is it?

this is exactly what i said. there is no way that malik doesn't come here with je'ron here. that means he will come

Malik is listed on "Rivals.com Rivals250 To Watch 2010" list. Some kids from Tennessee on there, also. QB Barry Brunetti (Memphis University School), TE Harrison Jones (Memphis Evangelical Christian School), LB Justin Maclin (Memphis Ridgeway), DE Jaquez Smith (Ooltewah), OL James Stone (Nashville Maplewood), and RB Eric Watson (Memphis Melrose).

I honestly just don't get it, a Pro-Style Quarterback ...do me a favor and tell me what a kid who is 6'0 157, looks like when two 300+ pound DL guys hit him high and low....

I just don't like the size
