Malinowski murder by ATF

What crime are they covering in your opinion..the murder of the man or something else?

Well, even if they didn't murder him they were attempting to murder him, imo - they setup the situation. Since it was successful, its murder, if they were unsuccessful they were covering the attempt. Do I think they all stand in a room and say, "Let's kill him." No, but the acts are still the acts. Like I said, there might be something else to this outside of the thread that could change my opinion.... but it don't look good.

They put everyone's life at risk for what reason? There is a reason why they didn't follow protocol, what's the reason?

No knock is the reason. Without some life threatening scenario, NKs seem (to me) to be done to gain an element of surprise AND give justification for low self esteem LEOs to run into a place like a Seal Team to show their power and bravado.

Edit: Turning off the cams and the other off protocol stuff is very concerning and suspicious.

They did a whole bunch of stuff that was against protocol, all this could very well add up to premeditation murder. There was no reason for surprise in this instance, matter of fact they even put others at risk for no reason.

They setup the situation to where most likely he was going to be shot and injured or killed. All the while they appear to break protocol for some unknown reason to cover the tracks.

Like I said, they hire cowardly, low-intelligence meatheads on purpose. They want the cool TV-like action shots and virtually none of the danger, and when someone does actually pose a threat they lose control.

I agree with your first paragraph. NKs should be illegal except in the most extreme circumstances.

I am just not ready to claim is was planned to go down how it did.

You don't think LEO is like every other vocation in that is has both good and bad? It is only bad?

Well, they don't have to actually plan every detail for it to become murder or attempted murder. Actually, it doesn't even need to be mentioned.

They setup a situation where is was highly likely someone was going to die, and it could have been multiple people.... really for no reason and they appear to plan this out and appear to try and cover it up before it even happened. I am not saying those are all the facts, just going off what is in the thread.

People get indicted for much less.

I think like most jobs these days it is trending heavily towards mostly bad. Not necessarily evil people, but idiots that don't think. Especially in a federal agency like the ATF.

You've got a warrant to contend with.

Sorry, Jxn. You can be right in your ideal, but wrong in your application.
Oh I understand. But I know I’m right whether the bloated government agrees or not

I once didn't really have any basis for objection to no knock warrants..... And while I think they have their place, their use should be limited to hostage rescue and possibly some other scenarios I haven't considered.

Cases like these it's just not wise. The Brianna T situation got me considering how easy it is for things to go wrong......Too many variables. Just stake him out and stop him when he gets in his car and down the block, secure him then the house.

I'm also not going to fuel that speculation without additional information but whether it was incompetence or a hit I don't think the dude that is dead is all that worried about the difference.

There isn't going to be any way to punish them for doing the no knock since it's legal but I am curious about the legality of turning off the body cams. I know that has come up in the past and gotten LEOs in hot water. To me there is honestly no good excuse to turn it off.

They could have knocked on his door one morning or afternoon too.

apparently keeping the cameras on is a complex strategy and the ATF has had to go over its various offices over a lengthy time with the new policy of always keeping them on. they hadn't reached this district yet.

Weak AF, but if it hasn't hit that office yet...

Agreed. Incredibly weak hiding behind a technicality.
