Yahoo has a story on this guy, he's already in high school and he's a 7-5. I hope CCM is at least taking a look on this guy.

He looks raw and not at all athletic, but Thabeet was the same way. Unless the coaches are certain he can't be coached up, I'd take him. Thabeet managed to be a 4* despite not playing basketball until he was 15. Maybe that ranking makes him better than I'm giving him credit for but other than being bigger than everyone else, he wasn't very good. You don't face a lot of 7'3 guys in college and his worthlessness in the NBA shows you how bad and non-athletic he really is. That 7'5 dude probably has zero chance of being an NBA center but he could be a solid college center. Can't be any worse than Hall or Maymon playing center. Even Brian Williams for that matter. Heck, didn't we have Pearl Jr. and Woolridge playing center at times? lol. A 7'5 guy would have to be completely useless if he's not worth giving a shot. I'd like to think he could be coached up enough to block shots and defend down low. Balls will bounce into his hands without even jumping for them. If he can do the bare minimum, he could contribute.

kenny george was 7'8" and couldnt even start for unc asheville. just because he's tall doesnt mean he can contribute. teams would run him off ball screens all day long.

He didnt even dribble it once in the video. Dude is a huge guy but he'll never succeed if he cant learn to do anything else other than catch, turn, shoot/dunk.

He's too soft. You put someone like Stokes on him with size and strength and he will get dominated. If you can't win the tip against someone that is over a foot shorter it's pretty bad.
