With work, at the colege level he would be fine. Thabeet. Not a Pro, unless he exceeds my expectations. Any college would enjoy that size, simply as a shot blocker/alter-er.

LOL He's terrible!! :eek:lol: It takes him like a full 2 seconds to get a shot up, he travels like crazy, and just looks damn goofy.

Do Not Want.

We don't have enough time nor patience to work on getting him the "work that he needs" at the college level in a mere 4 years. This guys seriously lacks serious speed and agility. If he's gonna try and make it at a D1-A school, he'd better start practicing harder, like months ago.

Kenny George could not even jump or run to the other end of the court. This kid looks 10x more athletic than him. Still not saying he would be good, but he will play college ball somewhere.

anyone remember this guy

Dude ... I was at that game. Kenny George was a literal giant. He was terrible, but it was sort of surreal to watch Brian Williams try to guard him in the post.

A sad postscript ... George had to have one of his feet partially amputated due to a MRSA infection.

As to whether we should look at a 7'5" project -- definitely not. Few guys that size have the athleticism required to play basketball well.

considering this thread is from last february, I don't think we are still trying to get this guy. Just wondering the reason for the bump though??
