Lineup Next Year (Potentially)

PG- Goins/Golden
SG- Tatum/McRae
SF- Hopson/Woolridge
PF- Harris
C-Hall/Williams

Probably gonna get 1 more post player, and later on that year we get Maymon. This team will be better suited to do what Pearl likes to do IMO especially with better outside shooters coming in and another year of experience for Hopson and Tatum.

Then the next year is probably going to be our loaded year if Harris stays along with Hopson and Ware and Jones stay committed, which they should.

Not done with this year, but I am really excited about the upcoming years as well!

How are we doing on available scholly's for next year? I mean I know for sure McBee doesnt have one yet... and I want to say Goins. With the guys coming n next year I know they've all got to have a scholly, so I'm just curious if that's going to leave enough open for other current players.... any info would b appreciated.

Golden, McRae and Harris might all end up starting from the Day 1... it is a significant possibility! Golden and Harris are obviously talented enough to start, but McRae might as well bc Tatum really hasn't developed much. Tatum has a lot of potential and now it is time to live up to it!

I'd be surprised if Golden jumped Goins. I don't think Golden really even plays point guard right now. He's more of a shooting guard. We might be in trouble if Golden, a freshman... is running the offense over a senior that has a year in the system.

Neither Golden nor McRae is going to redshirt. McRae is too good and we need Golden too much.

We would be in even more trouble if we had a walk on playing PG

I think it's a good chance this is what our starting lineup will look like this time next season.

PG - Golden
SG - McRae
SF - Tatum
PF - Harris
C - Abraham (If we get him)

Don't know how you would even think this is plausible. Golden is a SG that has to make transition to PG, Goins starts. McRae might actually have a shot. Tatum has done nothing but underachieve, Hopson will start. Harris will Start. Abraham will not play ahead of hall and/or most likely Williams (unfortunately).
PG- Goins
SG- McRae/ Tatum
SF- Hopson
PF- Harris
C- Hall

Yea because Goins, Hopson, and Hall have all solidified themselves as sure-fire, gauran-damn-teed starters for next season.

I can't imagine any (good) scenario in which we start 4 freshman. Goins, Hall and Hopson will be in the starting lineup this time next year.

How can you put Tatum ahead of Hopson even if your four freshman (impossible) lineup were to happen?

What has Cam produced other than injuries and inconsistent play? Hopson will be starting over him next year.

If Tatum is hurt then he obviously won't start. However, when he has been healthy it isn't even close. If Hopson has been so great why was he benched for UF?

He has produced the same inconsistent offensive play as Hopson. I think he's much better defensively. There's not much difference between the two, imo.

Hopson can't even guarantee a starting spot at the wing over a washed up, JUCO point guard with no offensvie skills at all. What makes you so sure he will be able to hold off a healthy Tatum and Mcrae?
