Despite your fear, the investigation is going great. If Manafort is the top of the totem pole, you wouldn't be acting like a scared b**ch.

Lol. Why do some like to think us Trump supporters are scared if Manafort flips? Let the truth come out.

Manafort’s Bankers, Bookkeepers Could Testify at His Trial - Bloomberg

"The founder and chief executive of the Federal Savings Bank, Stephen Calk, was part of the Trump campaign’s economic advisory panel. House Democrats have asked whether the loans were part of a quid pro quo in which Calk was promised a high-ranking job in the Trump administration.

At the hearing, Ellis heard arguments on a Manafort request to exclude evidence about the Trump campaign. Prosecutor Greg Andres said the government would present evidence about a banker who extended a loan to Manafort while knowing that he had submitted inaccurate data on his loan application. That banker sought a job in the Trump campaign and was denied a job in the Trump administration, Andres said. He didn’t mention Calk by name.

“Did this person know that the information was inaccurate?” the judge asked. Andres said he did. The judge said he would bar evidence about the Trump campaign except as it relates to the banker “who went along with the fraud so he could get a job.”

Still waiting to see why this 10 year old financial crime and the implied more current attempt by Manafort to peddle any influence he might have actually correlates to Russia interfering in our elections and the Trump campaign “colluding” with them.

That's a cramped view of Mueller's mandate.

Not really. Manaforts case should be handled within the DOJ and not Muellers team.

Exactky. Everything brought to charges thus far in no way required a special prosecutor. Hindsight and history is gonna judge this investigation harshly. A massive massive over reach. Sessions and Rosenstein are going to be history’s b!tches in that regard.

Oh I’d call it an accurate view. Yeah we’re probably not gonna agree on that I know.

Manafort is your “piece de resistance” of Muellers stellar investigative work.

Also, didn't Rosenstein go back and clarify Mueller's mandate to make clear the Manafort investigation on pre-campaign activities arose out of the Russia investigation?

Lol he sure did. Like what 3 months after the initial engagement? And a week after the Manafort raid?

😂😂😂😂

Yeah... this isn’t gonna end well for Rod

Yes, only reason why not is that Mueller and his band of prosecutors dug through an 10 + yr old settled FBI file in attempts to squeeze him on the Trump-Russia hoax. It’s how they get a witness to not only sing, but compose, when they’re ‘looking’ for crimes on the big fish.

Mueller may be an above board straight shooter, but he’s not needed based on everything that’s come public. I’m sure he’ll be wrapping it up soon and issuing his report :birgits_giggle: .

Yes, he went full CYA because he had to. All Muelly did was dust off the files the DOJ had when they looked into Manafort (and decided nothing was there) and charged him hoping he had something on Trump to barter with.
