Manafort Trial Thread

If Gates doesn't testify Mueller has a big, big problem.

And the liberals will go even more berserk and it will be glorious!
Yea they are rethinking this whole Gates thing. It finally dawned on them that they made a deal with a guy who did the exact same thing Manafort did. That's gonna look really good in front of a jury....

Of course you didn't see that. But it just proves the point., that you only parrot what you see and what you're told.

Of course I didn't see it because it wasn't there. I don't make up crap but It is evident you do believe made up crap

Wow. Talk about desperate, unhinged, non fact based fantasy. I mean, its just become sad now the lengths you people are willing do reach for to foster any hope of Trump getting in trouble.

The products of weak minds gobbling up the MSM propaganda.

You are the product of a weak mind. What propaganda? The quote from the Prosecution that Gates "may or may not testify"? Is that the propaganda? Are you saying he did not say that?

Really? The "I know you are are but what am I response?"

Like I've been saying, I'm really looking forward to you growing up and seeing what kind of man you become. Learn to think for yourself though, so I can be proud of you.

I think the rubes are talking about the tweet I posted from constitutional Harvard law scholar Laurence Tribe who has argued almost 40 cases in front of SCOTUS. Trumpkins hate hearing the truth.

Basing your legal analysis on a tweet and an appeal to authority. This is the complete lack of critical thinking skills I alluded to. Thank you for proving my point, Double-T. ;)

I guess your critical thinking skills point to Manafort's innocence.

Yeah, I'll defer to the expert in the field of jurisprudence over you 2. Hilarious, but not surprising that you're calling him MSM propaganda. Just shows how little you know.

You do realize there is a beautiful area between that says, "Not sure, let's see". Right? Critical thinking, Mick. IO can give you some links. Udemy may even have some courses you could take.

But that's not even what the line of quotes you're referencing is about, Einstein. It was about a Harvard trained, SCOTUS-arguing tweet that claimed Trump is a criminal for tweting about the case, when lawyers can actually hold news conferences, tweet, write articles, etc about cases.

So, either he's a complete moron, or he's writing leftist propaganda that you geniuses are swallowing without even tasting.

So, again... Thanks for proving my point, genius.

lol... Your defense against accusations of poor critical thinking and swallowing propaganda is to bypass critical thinking and swallow propaganda. That's a bold move, Cotton.

I didn't reference that. I referenced an aol article. Go look for yourself and not perpetuate your false claim. You never have a point.

Then Mueller needs to **** or get off the pot, he's got irrefutable evidence of obstruction according to this professor. Every time we ask why Mueller hasn't moved on Trump you guys keep saying he's digging up evidence that the Red Hats can't refute, well now he has it. Do something Muelly.

Einstein... The reference in question was TT's post of a tweet that called Trump a criminal for tweeting about the case, and then TT defended repeatedly with appeals to authority. Try to keep up.

And I always have a point. The fact that you repeatedly accuse me of never having a point is just self-incrimination that you're slow.

I have not said a word about TT quoted tweet. Don't quote me and argue against his post. You just have rage that you misplaced. Are you going to be a man and admit that? Of course not because you are incapable of seeing your own faults.

Sad really.

You intruded on a conversation. Read TT's post number 209 and then slink away, kid.

The offer still stands on those classes.

Take care.

"All we know is that the ostrich jacket is one of the Alan Couture clothing items.

The purchases appear to have hit a note with the wider public. After prosecutors first spoke about a $15,000 jacket "made from an ostrich" in the trial's first minutes, the anti-animal cruelty group PETA published a letter Wednesday to Manafort's lawyer.

The group asked Manafort to donate the ostrich jacket to them so they can teach children it was "cruelly obtained." Manafort could receive a tax deduction, PETA added."

And as to the bolded, you may want to seek counseling. You follow me around like you think I'm your dad, and insult me like you think I abandoned you. You obviously carry a grudge around for the past several months after I pointed out some form of your immaturity or other.

Like I've often said of late, I have high hopes for you when you grow up, but it'll take a season of self reflection and a refusal to project your issues on others.

"Judge T.S. Ellis used a discussion of whether Manafort's team could discuss the lack of an IRS audit before Paul Manafort was charged with a crime to bring up the elephant in the room at any criminal trial -- whether Manafort himself will testify.

Ellis said Thursday morning he did not yet know if Manafort would testify in his own defense, and didn't want to force a decision from the defense team until they begin their side of the case, after the prosecution's case rests, likely next week.

"He will not be penalized for the right to remain silent," Ellis said.

However, Ellis added that if Manafort does testify, the judge may allow testimony about whether Manafort tried to comply with IRS policy and offered to be audited before he was charged."
