Harris' 47 sparks Huskies

good article....anyone know what style of play Beilein plays?

Beilin has a modified Princeton style offense that focuses on screens and passing, not speed and athleticism. Its a system that G'town, Air Force, and Vandy (to some degree) use.

He hasn't been released from the LOI yet, but you've got to figure Ramar is in his ear right now. Plus Tony has those Detroit connections.

Manny, if he ask for his release he'll get it, New coach doesn't want to start out his tenure alienating Detroit are or The Family AAU program. If he gets his release UT looks to be near the top. Question is: Do you take Manny and risk alienating Williams out of Memphis in 08?

Tyler Smith's Father has Cancer, he could ask for his release and file a hardship and play this fall at UT. Question is How do Pearl and Smith feel about each other?

If Beas Hamga does indeed re-open his recruit UT looks to be firmly in the picture

Jurick is wanted by UT but will he wait too long?

Singleton he really, really, really likes UT

Jordan and Beasley forget about

Also forget about a big man being signed in the spring

it looks like manny is getting more likely to ask for a release every day and Michigan fans are getting pissy about it. its really f'n funny.

You've gotta take the sure bet and still try to get Williams next year. Its not as though he is a lock to come here anyway.

For what it's worth, here is a link to a detroit area sports blog, and their most recent comments on Manny Harris.

DETNEWS | Weblog | Terry Foster Blog

He says that Harris might be angered by the fact that his old HS coach didn't get an opportunity to interview for an open assistant coach position at Michigan, but I have read elsewhere that the coach that did get that position (Jackson) was one of Harris's primary recruiters.

AWW shucks.. well, at least well still get Elliot Williams i suppose..

We can't get every good one we're in on, and the fact that we were in the ballgame for a guy who'd already committed to Michigan shows me that Bruce is still working on that Detroit pipeline.
