Manziel Being Investigated

13 years of repeatedly getting caught and yet your penalties were less than USC.

USC's severity mainly came from pretty much knowingly (and continually) lied to their faces while the investigations were going on and all but telling them to go f--- themselves on the way out

It's the same way committing an act and then lying to the cops gets you a worse punishment than just the act on it's own.

Not surprising; falling somewhere between the organization playing favorites and being too toothless after recent faux paus to really even be able to do anything

Doubtful. They won't blow them out. If they win, it'll be by 14 at most. Kyle Field is a tough place to play, and as good as Saban is, if he has a kryptonite, it's a running QB. A&M has the potential to be even more dangerous on offense this year. It'll be a great game.

Not so sure on that. 'bama has a little score to settle with the new kids on the block. Saban won't be pulling any punches this year. I see a smearfest leaving the aggies face down in their own cow patties.

Think I'll head out and go have a beer or two for the rest of the afternoon. May watch a little of Espn just to see em squirm around.

You realize espn coverage actually helped the case of Manziel right? Without it they would have had no idea what information NCAA potentially had.

Yet they destroyed the UT basketball program because of a little snitch barking about a silly cookout

Honestly, it was because he lied to them when they asked the first time, and then lied/denied it again when the asked the second time at which point they already had evidence.

He wouldn't have been hit with anything near a show cause had he just come clean at the beginning

Even at that CBP was made an example of. If he had been the head coach at UNC, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas etc he would have still just got a slap on the wrist.

Had Tyler Bray signed autographs for money last year he would have been ruled ineligible for the season but the returning heisman trophy (pos award) winner isn't going to sit long regardless of what he does.

I didn't realize until last week he was such an arrogant cocky punk. I though it was cool Sumlin pulled him after taunting the rice guy.....Rice!
