How do some of these teams from non power 4 conferences with so many losses get ranked so high?
It works it out as these teams start conference play and the schedule strength drops

Xavier has played the 2nd hardest schedule, so even at .500 the mat works for them
Minnesota has the hardest schedule and even though they are 11-14 they are #38

Coastal Carolina plays in the "Fun Belt" that has somewhat highly ranked Troy and Southern Miss but even the rest of the conference will drag them down.

Oregon destroyed their RPI and rankings with a series loss over the weekend #150 Ohio State (The Buckeyes were actually #197 last week

Some nice match-ups this weekend. Georgia at Texas should be a good one to watch. Hard to believe A&M will be a Q4 series for us.

This Weekend In The SEC (April 3-6)
*LSU at Oklahoma - Thursday-Saturday series
*Ole Miss at Kentucky - Thursday-Saturday series
*Alabama at Auburn
*Missouri at Arkansas
*Vanderbilt at Florida
*Georgia at Texas
*South Carolina at Mississippi State
*Texas A&M at Tennessee

Don’t see Mizzou getting their first SEC win this weekend.

I noticed Georgia jumped over us in Warren Nolan’s ELO.
Yep. Getting the bump on the opponents played, we catch Carolina ELO 49th/RPI 39th and they play the Barn ELO 26th/RPI 12th, better Ws.

Georgia is absolutely murdering the ball. Georgia will see better pitching this weekend, it will be interesting to see how well they do.
