only thing is he attends school where Ted Ginn Jr's dad is the coach, which OSU all the way.

on the flipside, that wouldn't be a bad school to make contacts at. If we could get a recruit out of there and he plays well for us, we could possibly get others in the future. They've had some pretty good talent over the years.

If he is happy just getting to the BCS Championship game and losing to the SEC, then he should go to OSU. If he wants to seriously show his skills amongst the best collegiate athletes in the country and have a great chance to win championships, then the choice should be easy. Go Vols!

He was visiting OU this weekend. It will tough for us to pull him with the incoming class they have and the other recruits that were there this past weekend. Marcus says he felt at home and tOSU has set the standard for the rest of his visits. He says the '09 guys did not ask him where he was going but instead told him to quit playing around and just commit.

Good thought but, it will never happen.

That school is a training ground for tOSU. If Ohio State wants a kid from that school they get him no questions asked.

As long as Ted Ginn Sr is there it will be a direct pipeline to Ohio State, until then its wasted time and money going after a kid there.

I agree we won't get him. I disagree that it's a waste of time. Sometimes you just never know and maybe we could pull a kid from there. Besides, all it will take is Tressel ticking off Ginn and he'll take his recruits elsewhere. Makes me wonder what kind of kickback Ginn's receiving from tOSU.

Glenville, Centerville, and Youngstown Cardnal Mooney are always great schools to have contacts with in Ohio. Most of the players from there go to Big 11 schools, but they ALWAYS put out talent. It NEVER hurts to be in contact with those programs. If you can get one guy interested in UT at any of those schools it could be a future pipeline. OSU stockpiles talent and some recruits don't want to go into the bottom of that depth chart in Columbus. So don't say it is a waste of time.

Last year there was a kid from Glenville, I believe Cordale Scott, great wide receiver and everybody figured he was a lock to OSU. He chose Illinois. Glenville is home to Ted Ginn, Troy Smith, Ray Small, and Donte Whitner to name a few. This is definately a school that would be great to build a pipline with. And like OHvol said Mooney is another school in Ohio. Last year they had four 4*s. Two went to Penn state, one Notre Dame, one Michigan. And I've seen Hall play, he is the real deal

"I took Ohio State on December 12 and the weekend after I leave the Army game, I'm going to Michigan, then Illinois, Miami University and then Tennessee. My biggest top three is Ohio State, Illinois and Miami"

as per rivals...ouch but i guess since he is still coming we have a slight chance, but it doesnt sound like we have a shot

What is so great about OSU?

Ohio "2nd place" State University. I mean I guess they will get a ring for the Big 10.

We havent been to a BCS bowl game since 2000

Since then OSU has been to five BCS games, three of them being national championships and they won one of them.

I cannot stand the buckeyes but, you can't argue with their success. At least they are getting there.

I know you may hate the school cause it is from the North or whatever.....but to discount Ohio States tradition and football program is ignorant as a college football fan. They are a top notch, winning program any way you cut it, just like our University of TN.

If Ohio St gets Morgan Moses, Hall will go to Illinois. If they don't get Moses, still an OSU-Illinois battle with Ohio St likely winning.
