I know you may hate the school cause it is from the North or whatever.....but to discount Ohio States tradition and football program is ignorant as a college football fan. They are a top notch, winning program any way you cut it, just like our University of TN.

They would be "just another team" if they played in the SEC.

Didn't announce at the game. Got a lot of attention at the game from other OSU recruits and other schools. Still planning on taking his official visit at the end of January.

You've got to be in it to win it.

Marcus says he loved Michigan and now has a top three of Michigan, tOSU, and Miami...possibly in that order. He will not visit Illinois now but will still visit Miami and Tennessee.

"Michigan's chances are big," Hall stated. "I had eliminated the school (earlier in the process) because of their past season, but I didn't think about it that they were bringing in a whole new offense and a whole new coaching staff to a new school, so a bad season was expected.

"I got to see a lot of stuff and learn a lot of the history about Michigan. Coach Rod (Rich Rodriguez), I got to know him a lot better," Hall said. "There was a real bad snow storm there this weekend and the people were acting like nothing happened. If they were like that during a snow storm, I know that game day is crazy up there."

Illinois will be Hall's next destination. He will officially visit Champaign next weekend, the follow with official visits to Miami and Tennessee.

"Now that I've been to Ohio State and I've been to Michigan, every school that follows I'm going to be comparing each of those visits and the pro's and con's," Hall said.

I posted this in the Mike Edwards thread as well:

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville five-star offensive tackle Marcus Hall is the highest rated prospect in the Midwest yet to make his commitment. Hall took his official visit to Michigan this past weekend and now has the Wolverines at the top of his list.
“Michigan is my leader right now,” Hall told GoBlueWolverine.com’s Andre Barthwell, “I had a good time this weekend. The visit was real nice. I really didn’t expect it to be that nice. It was so organized and I was very comfortable with everyone. Michigan having a (3-9) season does not bother me. That just means they need players and I could play early.” Ohio State, Miami and Tennessee are the other schools on Hall's list. He takes his official visit to Miami on the 23rd of this month and Tennessee on the 30th.

The visit to Miami went great," the four-star standout said. "Right now I like Miami a lot. That visit was, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd have to say it was a 10. They made it hard to say no. It's going to be a big, big decision.

"I'm still on the official visit high, but I'm thinking about Miami more than Ohio State right now."

Wow. A 10 visit and he still likes OSU and Miami more. Bummer

A visit to Miami in January can be a big sway but... get him off the beach and into the Neyland then we'll see where his mind is.
