This guy has been high on the last team he visited the entire time but through it all tOSU has been solid in every thing hes talked about. Not gettin my hopes up on this one.

If what I've been posting is what CLK and staff have been showing these OL prospects then there's no good reason not to come to UT. This kid would probably get PT as a Freshman and start as a Soph... He could be a starter as a Freshman.

New article on GVX...I'm on the ol phone but I'm sure you can find it. He says he'd really like to play with "his boy" edwards, that no one has any real influence on his decision making process, and he really...really likes the coaching staff. For some reason it also says his choices are UT, OSU and The U, instead of michigan. Who knows.

If Edwards get in Hall's ear like the little turkey (Daren Bates) at Auburn is in Aurbey Phillips' ear, then we would be set.

Actually it is Edwards that says he wants to play with his boy Hall. Not the other way around. And Michigan has been out of it for awhile. This has become a two horse race and I still think OSU wins out.

I have been keeping up with recruiting for 10 yrs or so its getting harder and harder to guess what kids are going to do

"Right now, I'm with Ohio State and Tennessee right now. Those are my top two, and I'm just going to go home and sit down and think about it till the last second on Wednesday. This is the biggest decision of my life so far, so I'm just going to try to make the best decision for myself and see where it goes from there."

"It went real good. I got to meet the whole coaching staff. Previously I'd just met coach (Jim) Chaney and coach (James) Cregg, but overall the visit was real nice," he said. "Nice campus, real nice school. The team seems like it's a real brotherhood, and I got a chance to get a taste of the fans when we went to the (Tennessee-Florida basketball) game, so that was real nice."

Having cut Miami from his list, Hall acknowledged his weekend on Rocky Top makes the next 48-72 hours critical.

I think with losing Phillips we land this guy on NSD. Kiffin told him he would get early playing time he showed him the depth chart & Hall believes it. I think Edwards will be in his ear the next few days.

Glenville, Centerville, and Youngstown Cardnal Mooney are always great schools to have contacts with in Ohio. Most of the players from there go to Big 11 schools, but they ALWAYS put out talent. It NEVER hurts to be in contact with those programs. If you can get one guy interested in UT at any of those schools it could be a future pipeline. OSU stockpiles talent and some recruits don't want to go into the bottom of that depth chart in Columbus. So don't say it is a waste of time.

Centerville is where I go to school, and we constantly put out Big Ten kids.

Agree...Edwards has the potential over the next few days to be very influencial on Hall...we need some good news...SOON!!

Hawk and Nugent. Mangold lived in Centerville but went to Alter, the catholic school in the area. This year we have an OL going to Illinois and a DE going to Indiana.

This guy is such a beast..One of the few offensive lineman in this years class that could start as a freshman. Outside of Marlon I would take him over anyone else were recruiting. I just hope Edwards can convince.

I don't know if we end up signing him or not, and yes, Ginn Sr. will be pushing him toward OSU but at the same time, you have to think that this kid has seen the beatdowns OSU has taken from SEC teams and is taking that into consideration. We may have a better shot than most believe.

i'm not sure his coach wouldn't be fair - man of his experience would probably respect the staff here quite a bit ...

Announcement coming at 1 p.m. from Hall. You'd think if he was going to go with UT, he'd take more time since he just got back from his visit, but keep those fingers crossed. Maybe with Edwards in his ear, all he needed was a positive visit . . .
