Marijuana, and the new angle of attack against President Obama

But it won't happen because it makes too much sense.

Lobbyists won't let it happen. Pharmacutical lobby sees it as competition so they throw lots of money around to make sure it's never seriously discussed. Same for the tobacco lobby, though it has lost a lot of power over the years. Pharmacuticals are the big boys on the block.

The government has run amok with corruption. Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but anyone with an ounce of sense knows lobbyists are plying government officials with cash and incentives. The problem is so many live off that teat that no one investigates it. Congress is set up to police itself, but when so many are involved, it becomes a case of the fox guarding the henhouse. They're not going to take money out of their own pockets.

I know I don't represent the majority, but I think marijuana is one of the best issues with which to attack Obama. The fact that his life/career could've been ruined by the same laws he is tyrannically enforcing is a joke. The dude doesn't care about justice at all.

You're saying this as if he's the only president who ever smoked pot only to enforce the same laws later in life.

It's sad when political attacks have to come from this angle because the general electorate is too dumb to understand the basics of issues that really matter.

Just like Romney and dogs....or Romney being a bully. It only matters to the ones who wouldnt vote for them anyway. Its all garbage and meant for the typical American attention span.

Mushroom tea?

No; just regular caffeinated tea. I imagine that should cause more of an outrage (a candidate directly defying the strict pretexts of his religion) than Obama's fascination with weed (after all, not prohibited by his religion: Christianity).

Aha. Now I get your angle. Marijuana should be decriminalized anyways, so the fact Obama got high in high school and college means absolutely nothing to me. The economy still sucks. That means a lot.

And Jesus made jugs and jugs of alcohol for his drunken friends after they drank all the other alcohol. Also, nothing that goes into the body can defile it, according to JC.

Precisely. It doesn't ****ing matter. That's a really ridiculous rule anyway.

He claims to be a Christian. With all due respect, who are you to say otherwise?

and get called racists every time they bring it up. Quite a setup he's got going huh?

What's he supposed to do, call Jessie and Al every time one of them open their mouths?

And it is racist to refer to him as "The Kenyan" or "The Muslim". That's what you get from the far right when his name is brought up(not that the far left is any better)

The only problem I have with him is that he has been a terrible POTUS. I don't have a problem with him personally as I didn't W.

I'm not talking about the room temp IQ people that call him those things (although lumping any detractors into the same group is also an often used tactic). What I mean is there is plenty in his past that should have been exposed and discussed early on and was ignored by most of the media because he read a good speech. There were some that brought it up and they were quickly shouted down as racists. Had the man been properly vetted then we would most likely be talking about Pres Hillary Clinton right now.

I agree.
