So why not remove Maxine from committees for her inflammatory comments? If they were justified in removing Greene, why not Maxine? Other than Nancy's double standard, that is. Pelosi could show she means business and actually do something that should be done. It's kind of her responsibility to do it. Yet she won't. Not even talking about expelling Mad Max from Congress, just removing her from committee assignments for inappropriate behavior she has obviously engaged in. Where's the Dem support for that?

Unless you're tribal in nature, I'd think anyone who saw Maxine's comments would recognize they went too far and are deserving of appropriate response.

The best way to answer that is to state the obvious:

Ethical standards governing what is and is not acceptable conduct from members of Congress are not applied consistently. D.C. is a very partisan climate and it has been that way for over 20 years now. If you are looking for well-principled people with sound moral values on Capitol Hill, you are looking in the wrong place. You will find hypocrites by the boatload, however... and for every hypocrite you can name on the Democratic Party side? I can name one on the Republican side who is just as bad.

I wouldn't call it being "hated". Marjorie Taylor Greene is not well-respected by leftists, as well as some members of her own party, primarily because she is on video (which can be seen on the HBO Documentary series entitled "Q: Into the Storm") espousing a firm belief and complete devotion to all things related to Q'Anon, including the theory that Donald Trump would re-assume power on March 4, 2021. How is a sane, and reasonable person supposed to take her seriously after that? She is an irrational and crazed loon.
