Marjorie Taylor Greene Receives Standing Ovation From Repubs. Dems Vote To Remove Her From Two Committees

MTG is destroying her own career if she goes after Crenshaw. I will definitely side with the war hero who gave body parts for his country over a harpie who’s only demonstrated skill is running her mouth.
That said, the Democrats have no business removing their opponents from committees. That is the voters job. I fully expect the Republicans to institute a „2 for 1“ promotion in January 2023. we remove TWO of their reps from their committes for every one of ours they removed. Only way this stupidity will ever stop IMO.

This almost appears to be a hidden sex joke from Greene. She ain't very attractive but I love her wild streak.

Marjorie Taylor Greene confronts DOJ about alleged 'entrapping' of defendants in Gov. Whitmer kidnapping plot

Republicans want answers from Garland on FBI's role in Michigan kidnapping charges, Jan. 6 attack

EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is seeking answers from the Justice Department (DOJ) on whether the FBI "entrapped" defendants in the Gov. Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot and whether the high-profile charges in Michigan were politically motivated to hurt former President Trump before the 2020 presidential election.

Greene on Wednesday sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray that backs defense lawyer claims that four defendants charged with conspiring to kidnap Whitmer were steered by undercover FBI agents and informants.

"The American people deserve a transparent justice system and law enforcement that keeps them safe, not entraps them in serious criminal activity in order to sway the outcome of a democratic election," Greene and 11 other GOP lawmakers wrote in a letter obtained by Fox News Digital.

She also said the other day that the Catholic Church is satanic because it promotes compassion to immigrants.

Unfortunately, people on "the fringe" can't stay hidden like they used to. She and a few other do not need anymore attention.

I point it out quite apart from the fact that it renders her a political moron to make such a statement. Truly, it takes an imbecile of the highest order to insult an enormous religious mainstay and to call a Christian-based group of 1.2 billion people Satanic.

I'm much more afraid that it reflects a line of thinking from strip mall type evangelical churches in the U.S. that at least in part choose to attack more established churches to lure people to them. Usually to fleece them. Or at a minimum to use religion as a tool for political positioning.

Don't get me wrong. Use of religion for political suasion has been going on for centuries. Just that in the current political climate there seems to be an upwelling of churches that tout political ideology in the guise of religious belief, when its really not.

Cui bono, or who benefits?

The district and state she represents does not need that Catholic vote, in fact, some or maybe most do not consider catholics christian. As far as the religious base is concerned this confirms their already held beliefs.

Maybe, I have missed it or there have been other distractions but I am surprised that Biden has not received more criticism simply because he is catholic.

The "evil establishment" has been turned into the kicking boy of any one or group that has a complaint.
