She's crazy and can be called out on it by whomever chooses to do so. Doesn't mean that she should be removed from office. What exactly are her school shooting claims? I've only seen hearsay so far.

I want all the people who raided the Capitol or committed any kind of destruction in the riots throughout the year to be held accountable. I'm not going to pretend though that idiots trashing the Capitol are worse than those trying to burn Federal buildings in the Northwest (in at least one instance with people inside) or those burning businesses or attacking people. They all suck. It's not partisan. Sadly it gets treated that way.

Quotes? How did he specifically direct his message to the mentally unstable? What did he say specifically that caused an insurrection? When did he tell people to storm the Capitol? I've listened. Have you? If that's your interpretation, that's on you.

He felt the election was not conducted fairly, and his assertions are not without merritt. Speaking up isn't a crime. It didn't use to be anyway.
 
So a good thing is by an 2+:1 overwhelming majority the House GOP members voted to leave Cheney alone. That’s the right answer. For the 45 idiots that voted to take action I refer them to my post number 3 in this thread.

Cheney represents her constituents. They will decide if her opinion was wrong on not. The GOP could of course put their thumb on the scale via campaign funding but I’d guess Cheney is a strong candidate and they just want this to go away at this point.

People have forgotten that house members represent their districts and as long as the do nothing criminal the House should have no power to punish them. If the members party chooses not to support them financially during reelection that's fine.

As pointed out earlier - with Cheney there was at least cause for the action since she exercised a leadership action without properly consulting those she represented (other GOP House members). Still not worthy of her losing her position but the action was based in her direct actions in the leadership role.
 
Ok everybody we need to have a talk.

Majorie Green being in DC is a matter between her and her constituents and that’s it. If they like her crazy ass opinions that’s between them.

Likewise Liz Cheney in DC is a matter between her and her constituents. And similarly if in her opinion she felt she needed to vote to impeach that’s for her to answer to her constituents on.

In NEITHER damn case is it up to a damn political party to tell either Congress woman what their opinion should be. That is for the Congress women and their constituents to hash out.

Agreed, and the same can be said for "The Squad" and Pelosi, and Schumer, and McConnell. What I don't like is the blackmail the parties have over "OUR" representatives. The national financial support for local races have become ridiculous. We need to change our campaign laws so that local support (dollars and workers) determines the outcome of an election.

I had read that it was mostly based on butt hurt over her voting for impeachment. But ok I’ll take y’all’s word for it on the leadership action without consultation. Even at that this still appears to be massive over reaction to me.

The GOP is not helping their cause by cheering on this rather “eccentric” freshmen Congress woman while very publicly chiding a solidly performing House GOP leader. I see no reason for the GOP to try and out-squad the Dems at least not in the same extremist squad way. I was encouraged by the appointment of several GOP freshman congress women as the anti-squad. But the swirl around these two Congress women isn’t good press.

Crenshaw called out Green on her dumbassery and I thought he was correct. You’re now a member of Congress. Act like it.
