Nothing like the truth slapping you in the face.....
with all the HIGH (in more ways than one) expectations, the day after the (less than desirable) new coach is announced will be like the worst hangover of your life.....nausea, HA, vomiting, photophobia, dizziness. I wish something big would happen; I just don't see it happening. I could be wrong.

But your right

at the half of the Louisville game "If you think you are getting Jon Gruden, you are not. Jon Gruden is not going back to coach college. You have a better chance of getting John Madden." Wow. He just pooped in our ice cream.

I'm glad he said it, now lets move on to a proven COLLEGE coach. Amen Mark Amen

If Gruden does come, best part will be to watch all these public media guys eat serious crow.

No lie. I'm not sure I've ever seen a coach search manage to stay under the radar like this one has. The media has been left to do nothing but write conventional wisdom fluff pieces.

They won't eat crow though. They'll talk about how they "couldn't believe it," and then they'll make it into a conversation about "How could they give him that much money when he's never coached a college game."

They'll all have to suck it up and admit that our signing class is legit, but TMZSPN won't admit that they were wrong. They never do.

Nevermind what he said about Gruden, Mark May is a blowhard. Never liked the guy.

May picked UT as his "dark horse" National Title contender and Arian Foster as a preseason Heisman candidate, as well, just 5 years ago.

And... he was obviously wrong. My dislike for him is not because I think he slights Tennessee. I just flat out do not like him, and his predictions are usually dead wrong.

Holtz routinely makes May look like a fool. Also he and Steven a smith have jointly fathered a love child. His name? The Antichrist .

Mark May said that Nick Saban would never leave the beaches of Miami for the trailer parks of Alabama. We saw how that prediction turned out.
