Mark Richt to Nebraska?

Miami would be a great place for Richt to go when they look for a new coach soon. Mark Richt played for Miami from 1980-1983 and played most of the 1982 season when Jim Kelly was injured.

If I were Nebraska, I would go after Pinkel. He is used to recruiting in areas w/o tons of talent and he just wins.

why would Pinkel leave Missouri for Nebraska, that's not even a lateral move....Play a BIG 10 schedule would be the only reason

Nebraska is a much more prestigious job than Mizzou. He has hit the ceiling for Mizzou, and now would be a perfect time to leave. UT is getting better, Florida will bounce back. Hell, even Kentucky is improving.

You are high as hell if you believe that Missouri is on the level of Nebraska. Nebraska is a far better job and program.

Nebraska would be a move down for Richt. GA in SEC is a better job. If he were the coach at Nebraska he would have been fired for underachieving.

If you were a coach would you rather be competing for a SEC title of Big 10 title.

Nebraska has more tradition but Missouri is the better job today

He could always return home to Miami. They would kill for the 8-9 wins seasons that Richt has had at Georgia.

Nebraska today is not Nebraska of the 70s, 80s, or 90s. Georgia is one of the best jobs in the country. I would say a top 5 job. Mark Richt is a very good coach, but UGA has never reached their full potential with him at the helm. Whenever Mark Richt leaves, elite coaches will be lining up to take the job.

Hopefully when he leaves UGA will hire another Ray Goff or Jim Donnan type.

Not nearly has high profile, but it would be akin to Frank Haith leaving Missouri for Tulsa. Get a decent job elsewhere before he's fired.
