Nebraska had like 100 consecutive sellouts . Pinkel would be an idiot not to take job. The deal about richt is he always underachieved with top 5 talent every year. Dawgs always lose a game they shouldn't that's coaching.

Would Nebraska have 20 yrs worth of sellouts if they're stadium seated another 20k? I don't know if they would or wouldnt but it's easier to sellout less seats than more seats.

From what i've seen of the Dawgrun message board,they want Richt run out of town on a rail.

Their fans are and always have been a bit delusional. They are the king of preseason championships.

I work with a UGA alum who claims to be close to the AD. Since he got me onto the sideline in Athens for a UT-UGA game, I tend to accept his credentials.

I already posted this in another thread a week or so ago: Richt isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

He's too old. Nebraska's likely looking for ideally a more long term solution and he's already in his mid-60s.

I did not realize he was that old. I thought he was maybe mid 50's.

He's never been offered a job as prestigious as the Nebraska job as far as I know. I remember his name coming up in the Washington coaching search, but Udub is not Nebraska.

Georgia is a clear top 5 job. Other coaches have always said that. You're gonna tell me that with all the recruiting base and in a 500mile area,the facilities,etc that Nebraska is a better job? Nebraska is a top 10-15 job. Is there good recruiting in Nebraska? What's in Nebraska that's attractive? It isn't the job it once was. Especially with the rise of so many other programs.

Thats what gets me about coaches that cant do well at programs like Southern California .. that school recruits itself!
