Marsalis Teague

A hockey team from Nashville and you're on it. Very entertaining.

I'd love to see a MicroEcon class at the HS level with folks who haven't finished Calculus. More entertainment.

I'm taking AP Micro Economics and AP Calculus this year... They have no connection whatsoever haha...

I'm new to the board but I been readin on here every since marsalis signed. I'm from henry county and I was upset with some the things said on here about him and dominique. A lot of people said bad things just cuz they didn't wanna play in tennessee. I'm like marsalis I was always a miami fan but this year I will be pullin for tennessee and lsu since they have henry countians. But if you was from detroit and your son was in the nfl and was a free agent. If he could sign with any team would you be mad if he didn't choose detroit.

Somebody said dominique wouldn't get pt. The reason he went away from tennessee is cuz they wanted to move him to tight end. He didn't like that. Lsu told him he will probably play as a fullback his freshman year and his sophomore year they told him if he outplays the runnin backs that will be his spot.

I think marsalis was way underated. He is a winner. 25-3 as a starter. 3 losses comin by a combined 19 points.

Ok let me ask all yall that follow tennessee closer than me. Will he get significant playin time next year. And where would you put him? Off? Def? Sp tms? Thanks in advance.

And I would love to see him on offense at the slot, but who knows what the coaches are going to do with him.

special teams this year and i just have the feeling that he will be a very solid db for us in the future

I really am curious to see how this new staff uses Teague. I think it is definitely to his advantage that he can play multiple positions but it just seems like no one is really sure where he's gonna contribute, at least right away. I hate to but to borrow from clawson one last time, he seems like a playmaker and we need to get the ball in his hands.

definitely st. possibly some time in the slot early on. I'd like to see Teague and Nuke on the field at the same time at some point.

I read an article about Dominique Allen after he changed his mine and committed to LSU. He said all other schools were recruiting him as a FB and LSU told him they thought he could play TB there. I am not sure if that changed or not, but that is what he said then. This is the first I have heard of Tight End. I am pretty sure UT wanted to use him as a FB, not sure about other schools.

I read in about 4 different articles that the reason he didn't go was cuz they wanted to use him at tight end. But lsu did tell him if he is the best tail back then that's where he will start.

They need to make a decision soon tho. If he plays wr then he needs to work on his route runnin since he has never played that position before. And if he plays corner he needs some work cuz he looked a lil rusty in the playoffs last year since he didn't play corner in the regular season. And I would love to see him on returns. He doesn't fumble either. One game this past year he was back on punt return and the guy was comin full speed toward him. Nobody told him to fair catch it so as soon as he received it he got hammered. I have no clue how he didn't fumble. And I think he dropped back for 2 punts and 1 kick return this season and returned 1 of each for touchdowns.

Yes he can throw the ball. He threw for more touchdowns than he ran for last year if I am not mistaken. He either ran for 18 and threw for 16 or vice versa.

The kid can throw and he must be accounted for all the time. He will string the defense out look down field if nothing is there find a hole and squirt through for 20 or 30 yards at a time.

I watched most of Henry Co. games last couple of years and most were over before they began. This guy has really got it. He is one of those guys who not only has really good speed, but he has moves that you just don't see everyday. If the gators want him, you know he is speedy and elusive.

I think he could do a great job at QB. Heck how much worse job could he do than those clowns last year. I know it is a new system and all but he is a smart guy too. 4.0 GPA.

Let him have Coleman's place this year!

Hey dude Nuke can throw too. But they both knew that they wouldn't play QB.

we are thin at QB, why not give him a shot?

Cant hurt in any way.

Could be an X factor you never know.
