Per his high school coach's comments to Adam Zagoria, Tennessee is among the schools who has contacted the German power forward since he received his release from Maryland. Others include Washington, Michigan, Florida, USC, UAB, and Providence.

- previous recruitment, geography, you'd think that would be a tough competition to enter. But, sure worth a call. May be the reason they held off on an offer to Dwight Miller. He visited Washington in the last few days. Sounds like the Huskies are the heavy favorite.

Hat, I don't know much about this guy. I'm assuming he's got some talent, otherwise you wouldn't be posting on him. Any other insight you could give about this guy?

We have plenty of good looking women learning Deutsch.

We had Ritzmann love it at UT.

Decent German food as well in Farragut.

Oh yeah, and we have unreal opportunities for playing time.

Big and tough. Gary Williams was really excited about him. Just the type of player UT could desperately use right now.

He'd certainly walk right into playing time at Washington. They have next to no inside game returning.

Strange to read the ESPN profile:
Breunig is much more comfortable facing the basket outside the paint than he is battling inside around the rim. While he has a very strong body he is still getting adjusted to the physicality of the American game and not yet assertive enough against contact. He needs to become a more consistent rebounder and finisher inside the paint and more of a low post scoring threat.

Big yes, but does not sound super tough. Oh well. It is just ESPN scouts, and you were the one who knew that Goins and Prince were wasted scholarships and Maymon was fat and lazy.

I wonder if hispanic immigrants scope out the mexican food joints before moving north?

Apparently the germans do.

Ok, JMO, there are no good Mexican restaurants in Knoxville. Someone please tell me I'm wrong! Where do I go?

Cancun's was the best one I found in my 4 and a half years there.

You talking about the old one in old city? Man, every weekend for lunch and once a week at night when I was there. Knew some waiters, waitresses and bartenders who would set us up and give us @ a $25 tab. We'd leave a $75 tip. $25 per person for basically all we could eat and drink. Is it still there?

No, this one is in a strip mall by Kroger once you go over the river.

Soccer Taco (either Bearden or Market Square) and Cancun on Broadway are two of the best.

If you're ever down Western Avenue heading west, right past I-640 is this place called "La Fiesta". Great food and it's cheap as hell too.
