What's going on with that building on Bearden Hill across from Wasabi? The one that's been a half dozen different restaurants in the last five years....The Maxx, that strange Bogart themed bar, etc.

I'm amazed El Charro is still open with Soccer Taco directly across the street. Must get Soccer Tacos overflow.

El Charro only moved because the building soccer taco is in was too small.

I don't care about authentic, I just enjoy the food. El Charro chicken nachos > all. 5.99 for more food than one person should eat is great by me.

I should have known that the Pearl fans would be out in full force calling this a terrible class while their hero pulled an amazing class his first year with the high flying, talented Ryan Childress while losing Tyler Smith and Jamont Gordon.

The Vols have been in the tourney for 6 straight years. They had been mediocre at best prior to Pearl's arrival. There is a difference.

Don't be a troll, as usual. Pearl had to go. Most of us know that he was a pathological con man. Some of us were just sad to see it happen because we realize he was a heck of a coach. And you can't argue that this class is in any way good. It's funny how the argument has shifted from "the program has been elevated and the new coach can build on Pearl's foundation" to accepting the "patheticness" that is the class of 2011.

I wonder if hispanic immigrants scope out the mexican food joints before moving north?

Apparently the germans do.

If so, I hope the resturaunts burn down.

I know. Racist post is racist.

Strange to read the ESPN profile:
Breunig is much more comfortable facing the basket outside the paint than he is battling inside around the rim. While he has a very strong body he is still getting adjusted to the physicality of the American game and not yet assertive enough against contact. He needs to become a more consistent rebounder and finisher inside the paint and more of a low post scoring threat.

Big yes, but does not sound super tough. Oh well. It is just ESPN scouts, and you were the one who knew that Goins and Prince were wasted scholarships and Maymon was fat and lazy.

Sounds like your classic European big man

You don't know what the difference will be because you don't know what Coach Martin will do. The bottomline is no one was expecting a top class when the coach has been run out of town. As I was pointing out by mentioning Pearl's first recruiting class, you can't judge what the new coach will do by this first class. The judging can start in 2012.

The Pollo Loco at Tapatio's is GOAT. Cancun and Border Taco are both excellent as well.

Isn't that a chain? I feel like I've seen hundreds in California and never thought of them as anything special.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think the California ones are "El Pollo Loco"

Not Mexican, but has anybody gotten paella at Sangria's? If so, is it the best thing ever cooked?

I'm going to take a wild guess that Cancun's is one of the most common name of Mexican restaurants across America.

Don't speak for florida in that. We have moes and chipotle. No cancuns I've ever seen or been to.

I would put money on there being no less than 10 of the following restaurants in every state of the continental US:

1. Cancun('s)
2. Cinco De Mayo
3. (El) Pollo Loco [possibly]

There are probably more. Feel free to add. I'm not implying that they're chains, though some may be, but that these are generally some of the most common names regardless of ownership.

Any news on him? Does anyone know when he is going to decide? I don't know when the spring signing period ends.

I could be wrong, but I think the Spring signing period already ended.

This article from May 17 says we have not offered, but he apparently has offers from Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Georgia, Gonzaga, Indiana, Marquette, Minnesota, Oregon State, Seton Hall and Washington State, and Washington.

Thanks. Does he have longer since he is transferring compared to someone coming out of high school then? Also, how long can we wait for Yemi's parents to sign LOI?
