Martin might replace Mears in the 5 next year

3.Brad and Tony end up in the 66 and 70 rides next year with Tony being majority owner. All the while Mark runs full time in the 5 or if he doesn't want to complete the full schedule Landon Cassill will be there as well to perhaps run a few

says who? the Keselowski part, not the Stewart ownership part.

I've read some things on some other boards. Most of the Keselowski rumors were before the Mears story came out and before him going to Hendrick were reasonable expectations. I'm still not sold on Casey being out of the 5 next year. The only way Casey will be out will be if Casey wants out.

i haven't seen or heard a thing about the Keselowski to Smoke/Haas soon to be team. certainly interesting but i don't think i'd let the kid get away from me that easy.

besides, who in the world wouldn't want Scott Riggs driving their other car (insert sarcasm face here)?

I wouldn't let Brad get away. He's a nice kid, but who else is a viable candidate to go there(Haas)? Truex, Sorenson, McMurray? Will Roush lock up Ragan? If he does what will he do with Braun or Darnell? What about Scott Speed. Bill Davis has him scheduled to run full time in trucks next year. Other than Keseloswki I feel that Speed is the top talent in the Trucks/Nationwide. There's some options, but if Hendrick/Jr Motorsports doesn't lock up Brad then I would not be the least bit surprised to see him end up with Stewart

I like Casey Mears and I feel bad for him if indeed Hendrick gives him the sack. He and former Ganassi/Sabates teammate Jamie McMurray just cannot seem to catch a break as McMurray is out at Roush Fenway. I hope they both get good rides next season.

If Hendricks is going after another driver, they should try to get Smoke. Talk about a dream team!

Sounds great, but I don't think HMS would want a WHINER. Tony needs to settle down some. I know he seems to be picked on more by the media than some drivers.

Since the Mark Martin/Rick Hendrick Press Conference has made it official, I must decide whether to continue to pull for MM or continue my aversion to HMS. I believe my admiration and respect for Mark will overcome my "anti-big team with all the money" mindset. In fact I'm 99.9% sure it will. I would like nothing more in motorsports than to see Mark win a Sprint Cup Championship.

Agreed.I like Jr still and him being a part of HMS doesn't bother me very much anymore, probably helped by the 24 and 48 not dominating anymore. With Martin, I really haven't pulled for him like in the past because of my feelings towards Theresa. So,I'm actually looking at the move in a positive light. I will definitely root for him.
