lol Both of these coaches took over a messed up program. Dooley took over for Fulmer (who stopped recruiting) and Kiffin (who had everyone fooled with his crap) Martin took over for someone who lied to the NCAA. Now can not get a NCAA coaching job for 3 years. Then he and whatever school is dumb enough to hire him has to go in front of the NCAA and tell why they want to hire him. Bruce is done coaching in the NCAA.

Pretty dumb thread imo, but I will give Dooley credit for proving he can recruit at the national level and bring in the talent needed to compete for SEC championships. All thats left to be seen is if he can coach that talent up and turn it in to wins.

Dooley, at least Dooley didn't lose to MTSU, which is about as bad this year in football as Austin Peay was in basketball. I actually like Dooley, and hope he turns it around next year, just needs the lineman to keep up with the rest of the conference.

I think they would only have to go in front of the NCAA if he is hired in the next 3 years after that he is free to return to coaching without penalty. Correct anyone if I am wrong.

Based on what exactly? It's easy for everyone to sit around label people NegaVols or idiots for saying anything unflattering about Martin. What I'm not seeing are the people who support him so much, give examples as to why they think he's going to "turn it around". So please, I'm genuinely interested in your opinion on this subject matter.

You should look up what Martin did at Mo. State. Martin actually has evidence of good coaching.

Martin has actually turned a team around to a tournament birth. Dooley has done nothing in his career to show he's even decent.
