As long as Richt remains the HC, I'm not worried. They'll continue to underachieve. We've all seen this before with Fulmer.

Names thought to have been interviewed/consulted/held bible study with

I believe that Tuberville has already interviewed/consulted/talked with and it has been reported that shortly after he made comments saying he did not want to be a coordinator.

Why? It's plausible.

It has already been widely speculated that Tubbs already interviewed and/or discussed the position with Richt. Bowden has been trying to get back into Division 1. I agree that west is a head scratcher, but I am not sure why of all names to pull out of thin air, his would be the one.

I personally believe Kirby Smart will be their guy to go after.

So after failing with Koenning yesterday they wrapped up a deal with Smart today. I doubt it.

He hangs around Bama 1-2 more years and he will be looked at for some HC opportunities. Why would he start over with GA?

Hard to look like a good DC when the head coach gets all the credit for it (though I believe Saban does deserve a lot of credit for how his D plays).

Saban is also known as a very hard man to work for.

And Smart is a UGA grad, so that doesn't hurt either.
