I dont think so? It was okay, better than the relentless **** it got I thought. Honestly, maybe Im just over all superhero movies in general. Because GoTG2, CW, T3:R were all pretty good Marvel movies, better than others in the last few years. And I still just sort of felt "meh" about all of them.

Incorrect . And I’m excited for Black Panther . A marvel movie that from the looks of it has a good plot . Haven’t seen that in a while

Civil War? GotG2? Ragnarok? Dr Strange? None of those had good plots?

Heck, Homecoming had a great plot for the villain that tied directly into the larger MCU and history of the movies.

They do it because of sneak previews and critics pre-viewing. Typically it doesn't matter, because it doesn't usually get abused. I found an article where some indie movies were getting hammered by fake votes. Who knows why people would pick on indies?

I think the Last Jedi has tipped haters off on how to game these review sites.

How much of a loser do you have to be to put your thumb on the scale of movie reviews (in either direction)? Get a life people.

I've always thought indie movie ratings were slightly lower than they should be. I am guessing it's because they are disproportionately weighed down by fake votes because there are fewer total votes.

There was a good article about the new Ghostbusters movie talking about this. Women don't typically vote on IMDb, so men who were mad about their childhood being ruined were dominating the average rating, but women were giving the movie favorable reviews.

The article shows that 7,547 males gave Ghostbusters a rating of 3.6. Contrast that with 1,564 female users rating it 7.7. That resulted in a pitiful overall average of 4.1 while the target audience seems to be enjoying this movie.

MFW "so far advanced". I guess the previous thousands of years they hardly advanced at all doesnt count. We are going to be seeing stupid **** like this for months.

Do you think he's saying more advanced than the west or more advanced than where they are now? The former is hard to support, but it's hard to argue with the latter.

Granted I haven’t seen the movie yet but I am very familiar with the character and his story. The main reason Wakanda is so advanced is due to their unique resource of Vibranium, a fictional metal with physic defying properties, which they heavily guarded and more importantly did not strip mine it until it was depleted.

That said, not sure how advanced a tiny country in Africa would have advanced without said fictional metal.
