Delingpole: Now Oxford University Grovels to Black Lives Matter

Oxford University has published an open letter hinting at special treatment for any ‘Black students’ who can claim in some way to have been traumatized by the ‘brutal killing of George Floyd.’

Oxford is 3,959 miles away from Minneapolis, where Floyd was killed. The territory occupied by Minnesota has not been under British jurisdiction for nearly 250 years. And there have in the United Kingdom been many, many more local incidents which might more reasonably have traumatised students at Oxford University — ranging from the rape gangs which tortured and sexually abused underage girls right on the university’s doorstep in Oxford itself to, just 160 miles away, the slaughter and mutilation by a Muslim suicide bomber of dozens of kids attending an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

But the university, in its wisdom, has decided that the killing of George Floyd is of near-unique significance and has written to its student body accordingly.

Heavily armed white men and women from motorcycle gangs and 'back the blue' groups flocked to the small town of Bethel Sunday shouting 'Blue lives matter!' and 'All lives matter!' and facing off with the small group of village residents who had been demonstrating peacefully calling for an end to systemic racism and police brutality across America.

Atlanta district attorney will announce charging decision in Rayshard Brooks shooting this afternoon
Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. will announce his charging decision in the fatal police shooting of 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, according to a press release from his office.
The DA will hold a press conference at 3:00 p.m. ET to reveal if he intends to charge the former Atlanta office who shot Brooks, Garrett Rolfe, and fellow officer Devin Brosnan who was also present during the fatal shooting.

Two schools honoring Washington and Jefferson to be renamed in 'support of Black Lives Matter'

Two public schools in Berkeley, California, will remove their names commemorating Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson amid renewed and widespread calls from the Black Lives Matter movement for racial equality.

The Berkeley Unified School District approved a “Resolution in Support of Black Lives Matter” last week, following weeks of nationwide protests and riots denouncing systemic racism and police brutality sparked by the death of a black man, George Floyd, in Minneapolis police custody on Memorial Day. Both schools are named after presidents who owned slaves.

"Noting that Black Lives Matter protests have swept the nation as demonstrators demand justice in response to the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and far too many other Black Americans to list, the Resolution In Support of Black Lives Matter includes the following action steps: Initiate a School Renaming Process for Jefferson and Washington Elementary Schools in accordance with the District’s policies,” the school board said in a statement.

The school district also announced it would launch a “Black Joy Campaign,” which will be a year-round initiative to train teachers on racial equality and collect data from the schools, the SF Gate reported.

A lot of excellent points that will ultimately be ignored by the "compassionate" mob. This mob doesn't actually care about the plight of black people, they just like the kudos they get when they put themselves in the role of guilt stricken oppressor who is atoning. It gives them a sense of righteousness.
