Sure it bothers me some. Ignorance is a horrible but correctable problem. That's one thing that bothers me about Trumpism. It plays on, encourages, and takes advantage of ignorance.......which is the exact opposite of what is needed. We have to improve our ability to have civil and constructive conversation. (Trump's kryptonite)

I am. That is one of the right's greatest pieces of propaganda. Liberals are more concerned about public education but that in no way means they control it. How would they? How could they?
Education in controlled by the party in power, just like everything else. So in my experience, education has been controlled by far and away more by conservatives than by liberals.

We have people acting out in blind rage rather than informed outrage. These have gone past being protests because the people involved don't even know(or care) what the message is anymore. It's just toppled into chaotic vandalism as they look for things to tear down or burn for no other reason than they can. Protests have a message, and the current mob mentality has shunned the message in favor of destruction. It doesn't help the cause.

Education in general and colleges are dominated by liberals. That's why conservative voices and speech are silenced or "cancelled".

So they decide what is taught and how it is taught? If that's the case how do so many bomb throwing extreme liberals gain tenure and are allowed to teach drivel? I realize they are the extreme but even my neighbor who teaches locally admits the field and universities in general are dominated by liberals.

The field and universities are dominated by liberals. As is education in general.
BUT they are not setting education policy. That's done by the party in power.
But ask yourself, why is education dominated by liberals?
