I used to like mine until the billionaire hedge fund MF'r started calling the shots after he bought into the company. At the end of the day he ruined the company, split it in parts and took what was once a titan in the industry world wide and made it a nothing. I suppose I still liked my job, I just didn't like how I was told to do it anymore.

We are on the same wavelength. Even as a newb in the 1990's, naive to it all, I recognized the unrealistic expectations of the corporate world trying to maintain the growth of Wall St expectations. So much low hanging fruit and some CAPEX that might hurt ones short term bottom line, but benefit so much long term. Slow but steady is the way.

The whole thing just doesn't pass the smell test with me. ChinaFlu has a 99+% survival rate. This is an experimental type vaccine unlike any other ever and it has been rushed into the world. I get vaccinated to protect myself, so I am not an anti vaxer. And, I had the WuFlu already. Pfizer has been indemnified against adverse effects. Why? Fauci has publicly admitted he "moved the goalposts" in this thing. And he still has credibility?

Smoking kills 480,000 people EVERY year.

I get your points, but technology changes and the only thing a vaccine does is promote an immune system response against a certain contagion. I'm somewhat certain that the government is not looking to kill off a bunch of people with a vaccine so they can collect less money in taxes.
As far as smoking goes, if you smoke for 40 years, yeah it might kill you, if you smoke two cigarettes over two weeks like the vaccine, you'll probably make it.

I don't trust this particular technology. Particularly when it involves an untested unproven vehicle whose manufacturer is indemnified from repercussion.

My point about smoking is that here we have everybody all skeered to go outside around other people for fear of catching something that is 99% survivable, but has supposedly killed around 300,000 people... ONCE... and we are gonna force an experimental vaccine on errybody. Yet where is the outrage over half a million deaths EVERY YEAR from something that is COMPLETELY preventable via abstinence? Oh.. but it's my right to smoke, only hurts me, right? Yep. And it's my right to tell you to take that FrankenVax and stick it where the sun don't shine because I don't vaccinate for YOU. I vaccinate for ME. At least it should be my right.

Remember when WuFlu was gonna kill millions? That's what the "science" said.

This is an unacceptable comment. You think you're being funny by an oblique reference to the Holocaust. That is a subject which should never be addressed in humor. It happened in modern history and it can happen again, especially when idiots or bigots desensitize people by using it in jokes. You should be ashamed.

This is a perfect example of the cowardice enabled by anonymous posting. I seriously doubt you would make this comment out in the open where your identity would be known. I understand the science well enough and am high enough risk that I'm going to go ahead and get the vaccine. I also had several friends who participated in multiple trials without severe side effects.

I ultimately see it as my Christian duty to love my neighbor by taking steps to mitigate the spread of the virus. You do what you believe. That's why I've started calling it the Freedom Flu - it's spreading primarily through personal choice at this point.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for Portland. Thank you for a city, and a state, where misguided and brainwashed window lickers of every tilt can gather together in a raucous mass of oxygen thieves and march, protest, riot, steal, destroy, defecate, urinate, deface, destabilize, and turn anything from city blocks to an entire town into a rotten cesspool that even the buzzards avoid. Thanks also for giving the politicians out there the wisdom and foresight to defund law enforcement; hobble their peacekeepers; refuse to cooperate with those who are trying to keep the citizenry safe; and legalize any and every drug those harmless souls wish to smoke, inhale, inject, or just shove up their arse and wait for the blissful enlightenment that comes from being so strung out they have no idea what month it is. Free needles is a bonus, Lord...thanks for remembering that minor detail.

And in closing, when You finally decide You've seen enough and create the proverbial repeat of Sodom and/or Gomorrah (Your choice), please make sure that none of those sewer rats escape the fire, and please tune all TV's and radios in the good old USA to whatever channel You broadcast the blast furnace video on.
